About us

Our story

Genkidama - Cartoon Band was born from a shared passion for the cartoon theme songs that accompanied the childhood of whole generations. Our goal is to bring those emotions back to life with high–energy, engaging shows.

The name "Genkidama" is a tribute to Dragon Ball, one of the most iconic anime ever, and it represents the energy we want to unleash on stage at every concert.

From our beginnings to today we have played at countless events, comic cons and conventions all over Italy, always bringing with us enthusiasm and that special nostalgia that only cartoon theme songs can give.

Stefano
Frontman

Stefano Nuzzone

Singer and guitarist, he is the band’s frontman and founder. He produces most of the cover theme songs we bring to the stage.

Carli
Frontgirl

Carli Gorgoni

She joined the band in 2023. With a long experience as a singer and musical performer, she is the project’s frontgirl.

Davide
Guitarist / technician

Davide Zacchino

Guitarist, keyboard player and technical collaborator of the group. He is in charge of Genkidama’s sound and co-produces our cover theme songs.

Simone
Bass / synth

Simone Zacchino

Bass player and technical collaborator of the group. Davide’s brother, he switches between bass and synth during shows to recreate the original sound as closely as possible.

Diego
Drums

Diego Musardo

Diego is the drummer, the real driving force of the band. During live shows he also supports the singers with backing vocals.
